Excellent Sound Quality and Noise Cancelling

The Linkbuds S are a great pair of ear buds. They're light and comfortable and feel far more secure in my ears than other buds I have owned. The sound quality is excellent. The noise cancelling feature is superb too, as is the ambient mode. All calls I made using these buds were clear and I had no problem connecting them to different devices. The Sony Headphones App was great to use with these as it lets you change the sound settings of your headphones and also lets you check the battery levels in each ear bud and the charging case too! The charging case is well designed and great for travel. Great ear buds.

love the size and fit

I bought this product about three weeks ago to replace buds which were far too big to stay in my ears. I love the noise cancelling facilty, and the auto change when speaking to someone. I dont like the fact that most times whatever I was listening too does not begin replay automatically. I also miss being able to adjust volume using the buds, or being able to use either bud independently of the other. However, all of the above are not a deal breaker. If there was one thing I would have liked to see was the waterproof capability of some other brands.

The best earphones that I ever had.

First ir good sound. And they are perfectly laying in ears. I can dance, run, walk, drive and they stays in ear. Very Manu settings with application, way how to use them like you want. But wanted settings for navigation of each earphone like I want. For example, to make one tap on right - next song, one tap of left - previous. It's not possible. But good that I can make other section of funkcions on each earphone. It's better than nothing. Set on left volume control. Very good that I can see battery level on each earphone and for charger. I used it for work week when I needed to put it on charge. Still want function when earphones are changing place and movement mode without any sound. It's short, but still it is, making short moment of less music volume. And they still not detected me at my home as at home, but maybe it's problem with my country. I'm working on transport and only sometimes use it like passenger. They detects that I'm using tranposrt, but today will work at night, where I don't have radio, will use my earphones for music. Will change noise reduction mode to hear my passengers and engine while driving. Till this day there is full around noise canceling, bet I see, that I can change it and listen to music and still hear what's going around. That's very nice that I can change it in any time, like I need for this moment or day. For first two days loved how works pause when I start to talk. Then I found that they making pusē even when I clean my tooths (lave electric toothbrush), when I want to sing the song what I hear, even when I sniffing. So turned Ir function off and when I go to work and need to talk it's more simple to me put music on pause, noise canceling is still working for talking so I hear better other people. But now I can even sing or think loudly, I'm still hearing music. It's good that I can turn this function on or off. And I very love design. For them have very original color like no one before. On streets I didn't see anything like these. Black, white, sometimes beige, but blue till this day didn't saw.

I bought these at wal-mart , super light and slips right on in my ear, feels like there's nothing at all. setting up the app for the earbuds took a few minutes, but sound is phenomenal. They are a small to grip with my fingers, but these I want to use around the house. touch controls will take a bit of time to get used to but in time will manage.

Great, but a bit complicated

Bought 2 weeks ago and so far don’t regret. Customised setting of ambient sound & noise cancellation is a bit complex - earbuds switch from one to another sometimes against setup. I assume it’s how they detect movement or outside environment.

Really comfortable and light

Good sounds with them, and easy to wear. Multipoint good [although I had to reinstall the phone app to get reliable bluetooth connection], using laptop and phone as the two sources. In ear battery life seems to be only a couple of hours though [ANC on]

Ich hab die Link Buds vor ein paar Wochen gekauft und betreue es nicht. Abgesehen davon das ich ich des öfteren das Gefühl habe das sie mir rausfallen trotz das sie eigentlich ziemlich gut sitzen, was wahrscheinlich einfach an mir liegt, sind die Soundqualität und das Noise cancelling, sowie die Zeit die ich mit einer Ladung Musik hören kann super :]

Light & Great Fit - Made me a believer in earbuds!

I traditionally had not been an "earbuds" person. I often found them uncomfortable or poorly fitting, and as such hadn't used them in a long time, opting for over-the-ear style. However, the LinkBuds S changed my perspective on buds, and it all comes down to how light they are and how easily they go into your ear. Sony nailed it in this regard, and the comfort has removed my stigma on earbuds. Sound quality is great, but the standout feature for me is the Adaptive Sound Control for noise cancelling and ambient sound. The Headphones Connect app has a lot of features and settings adjustments to manipulate noise cancelling behavior based on what you're doing and where you are - and considering the mobility of the LinkBuds S, I found this to be a killer feature.

Bought the earbuds few months now & I’ve been listening to them all the time. Sounds good and medium bass sound. Noise cancelling is not too bad with the price I paid. They fit perfectly to my ears and I will recommend them

Höchster Tragekomfort, aber leider mit Rauschen

Musik- und Videowidergabe haben ein sonytypisch hohes Niveau. Leider schwächelt der Akku schon nach zwei Stunden, down bis auf 20%, wo andere Kopfhörer in dieser Preiskategorie schon werkseitig bis zu 8-9 Stunden Laufzeit versprechen. Auch das Deaktivieren von LDAC und DSSE verringert den Akkuverbrauch so gut wie gar nicht. Durch den sehr leichten Akku, erreichen diese InEars von Sony dagegen aber ein außergewöhnlichen hohen Tragekomfort. Man bemerkt sie selbst nach einer Stunde kaum und selbst mit den kleineren Silikonüberzügen rutschen diese Kopfhörer auch bei Cardioübungen nicht, was sie durchaus gymtauglich macht. Ein großer Minuspunkt dagegen ist das Grundrauschen bei Telefongesprächen, bisweilen auch Videocalls. Was sie leider vollkommen officeuntauglich macht, was bei InEar-Kopfhörern dieser Tage eigentlich schon ein KnockOut-Kriterium ist.

As for replaying the music automatically, this feature is related to the connected device not the headphones.
We'd also like to highlight that you can change the function assignments to the touch sensors of the left and right units using the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app. For example, the music playback function that is assigned to the touch sensor of the right unit in the factory settings can be changed to the touch sensor of the left unit.
You can also change the settings that do not assign the music playback function, noise canceling function, Ambient Sound Mode and playback volume adjustment function, etc as clarified here: http://bit.ly/3xxWN0W & http://bit.ly/3xyyEHB
Moreover, by default, you should be able to use the right or left earbud by itself. However, if the voice assistant setting on the Headphones Connect app is changed from the default setting to Google or Amazon Alexa, only the side with the touch sensor function assigned can be used by itself. And for most Android phones, if you click the pop-up notification and finish the Google set-up, the voice assistant will be automatically changed to Google Assistant.
If you want to switch sides, please change the touch sensor function on the Headphones Connect app as clarified in the above link.

Un excellent confort accompagné de super fonctions

Voila une semaine que j'ai cette paire de True Wireless et je ne regrette pas ! Ils sont très léger et confortable, ce qui assure un super maintien dans la vie de tous les jours. Ils se font même oublier lorsqu'on les portes. La boite est petite également donc parfait pour le transport. Globalement ça m'a l'air plutôt solide. Le son est plutôt bon et la réduction de bruit est satisfaisante mais pas les meilleurs du marché. L'application est super avec la possibilité de régler l'EQ, le mode transparent, un mode de réduction de bruit adaptatif. Et la cerise sur le gâteau, le Bluetooth multipoint a été ajouté il n'y a pas longtemps via une mise à jour (pensez à faire les mises à jour !). Ce qui me permet de les connecter à mon ordinateur et mon smartphone en même temps et ils peuvent switcher automatiquement ou manuellement très facilement. Point positif : Poids léger Confort impeccable Application simple et riche en fonctionnalités Bluetooth multipoint Mode transparent agréables Son équilibré mais... Point négatif Pas le meilleur son / réduction de bruit. comparé aux WF-1000XM4 par exemple c'est en dessous mais le gain en confort fait que je préfère ces Linkbuds S a 100% Son de transition entre mode transparent et réduction de bruit aurait pu être un peu plus doux.

Great until they weren't

Worked brilliantly for nearly 5 months and then the charging case wouldn't charge and was overheating when trying so now I don't have them as had to send back for repairs.

J’ai acheté cet produit depuis 3 mois le premier mois fonctionne très bien par contre au au bout d’utilisation continue de 3h dans mes oreilles les écouteurs fait des bruits très désagréables carrément abusif et tellement Acouphène fissuré pour les oreilles !! Maintenant à chaque fois quand je mets le mode réduction de bruit l’écouteur gauche commence à faire des bruits bizarres..

Ich bin absolut begeistert. Vor knapp einem Monat gekauft und keinen Tag bereut. Es sind meine dritten Sony In-Ear“. Vor Jahren mit den WF-1000XM3 begonnen. Dann zu den ersten LinkBuds gewechselt. Damals dachte ich, den Tragekomfort kann man nicht steigern. - Falsch ! Es geht ! Und jetzt noch mit überwältigendem Klang, den ich sonst nur von Over-Ear gewohnt bin zusammen mit exzellentem Noisecancelling. Sehr gut ist auch die appunterstützte Größenbestimmung der „Ohrstöpsel“ für optimale Rauschunterdrückung und Passgenauigkeit. Absolut zu empfehlen!!! Fünf Sterne von mir. *****

A+++ for being comfortable but connectivity issues

I've been using the Linkbuds S for 3 months. The sound is very good and I can wear them all day without feeling discomfort (which is a great bonus). I'm experiencing connectivity issues, which is where they lose a star, but overall I recommend the earbuds.

Ich habe sich zum Vergleich den WF-1000XM4. Ehrlich gesagt gibt es, ausser der wesentlich schöneren Größe kaum Unterschiede. Klang und ANC sind hervorragend. Spart euch das Geld für den teureren WF-1000XM4.

Great headphones let down by battery life

These headphones have fantastic sound qualities but it is let down by a 8 hour battery life which in real terms with adaptive sound control and noise cancelling switched on this is reduced to maybe 5 hours

I bought this 3weeks before while I was buying. Main reason for buying this buds is - For good experience in noise cancelling “but it’s normal” While coming to sound I haven’t observed any difference between different brands and Sony Design is very good Weight is very light it’s very good

Très bon produit

Ces écouteurs Sony LinkBuds S sont mini et léger on ne les ressent quasiment pas dans les oreilles. La finition de la version Bleu Océan est top, bon touché boitier agréable et léger se fond dans la poche comme si de rien état. Avec une excellente qualité de son et une bonne autonomie, on regrettera le manque de basse que Sony nous a habitué a beaucoup mieux, mais vu le poids plus des LinkBuds S cela n'est pas étonnant. La réduction de bruit est un peu limite, désactivé on entend légèrement les sont environnant et quand la réduction de bruit est active tout les sons ne sont pas bien filtrés. Les assistances vocales sont bien venues et très réactive sans oublié les multitudes d'option et réglages du son qui permettent de réglé les écouteurs aux petits oignons et une expérience 360 Reality Audio au top!

I love these earbuds!

Received as a Christmas present and i really love them. They are very small and light and very comfortable to wear. The charging case is alao small, light and neat and has a nice textured finish. Battery life is excellent. The sound quality is really good and can be personalised via the excellent Headphones Connect app. I love that you can control playback and the excellent noise cancelling function by simply tapping the earbuds. Different functions are controlled by tapping left or right and these have to be learned and remembered but they work really well and its so quick and easy. Great performance and great value for money, what's not to like? U would highly recommend.

Everything is fine. I appreciate the shape. But it will be better to have option to set up one earbud with noise cancelling and volume control together. The option for the same earbud in app is only NC or volume.

Répond à mes attentes

Je précise que je ne suis pas Mélomane donc ce n'est pas sur ce point de vue que je donne mon avis. Les LinkBuds S m'impressionnent par leur qualité, leur confort et le réduction de bruit. Je n'avais d'écouteur avec cette fonction avant et je les ai choisi suite à mes recherches sur le net. Grâce à l'appli j'ai pu choisir les bons embouts (un large d'un coté, un medium de l'autre). Une fois bien positionnés je n'entends plus les bruits de train, ni mes enfants qui s'ébrouent dans la maison quand je suis en télétravail. D'ailleurs, le connexion multipoint bien que pas 100% au point est un plus bienvenu Ils sont légers et confortable. Question endurance, je n'ai pas à me plaindre. Pour ce qui est du rendu sonore, j'en suis aussi très satisfait même en appel. Je peux regarder des videos dans le train quand je vais au travail sans avoir à monter le son très haut.

Bought as a Christmas present. These headphones are comfortable with great noise cancelling capabilities. Sound is very good and the time of use on a single charge is about 6 hours. Compared to others they are very good value

Registering product

Appalling process to register takes forever to find serial number which is not required anyway. Fitting in anything other than current date as purchase date does not work Based on simply the process or registering the product I would not recommend any Sony product to anyone.

Einfache, intuitive Inbetriebnahme mit Unterstützung der automatisch angezeigten Sony-App zum Download. Sofortiger Hörgenuss ( ist wirklich ein deutlicher Unterschied als wenn man Musik aus einender Stereoanlage hört!). Etwas Zeit benötigt es sich mit allen Festures vertraut zu machen. Das lohnt sich aber. Uneingeschränkte Kaufempfehlung.

Benutze den Linkbuds S seit 1 Monat. Ich bin mit dem Klang und der Bedienung sehr zufrieden, allerdings ist Akku Leistung bei eingeschaltetem Noise Reduktion +Umgebung überwachung unter meinen Erwartungen nach 3.5 Stunden ist der Akku leer.

Amazing sound quality

These tiny earbuds are easily the equal of the wf1000xm4 earbuds minus the noise cancellation. I love these especially in Earth blue. They are so comfortable, I fell asleep with them still in my ears whilst listening to music. So far I cannot find a single negative thing about them

Bisher meine besten True Wireless In-Ear: Sehr bequem, toller Sitz, super ANC, hervorragende Wiedergabe- und Telefoniequalität. Dazu noch ein top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Lediglich zwei fehlende Features fehlen für eine Bestbewertung: - Kein induktives Laden der Ladeschale - Keine individuelle Einstellung der einzelnen Touchsensor-Funktionen sondern nur vorgefertigte Sets ("Wiedergabesteuerung", "Lautstärkeregler")

Ich trage Kopfhörer hauptsächlich beim Sport und war gezwungen immer On-ear Kopfhörer mit Bügel zu tragen, weil ich keine In-ear Kopfhörer gefunden hatte die: 1. Fest saßen ohne herunter zu fallen 2. Einen außerordentlich guten Klang besaßen 3. Erschwinglich waren Das kleine Gehäuse und das super leichte Gewicht der Sony Linkbuds S sorgen endlich für einen guten und stabilen Sitz beim Sport. Somit kann ich mich aufs wesentliche konzentrieren. Der Klang und die Geräuschunterdrückung sind Weltklasse. Wirklich erstaunlich was für ein toller Sound aus solch kleinen Kopfhörern kommen. Durch den guten Sound kann man die Kopfhörer zb. auch bei Filmen oder Serien verwenden. Durch die App hat man auch die Möglichkeit den Klang und die Geräuschunterdrückung nach seinen Bedürfnissen anzupassen. Zudem ist die Akkulaufzeit beeindruckend. Ca. 2 Stunden Nutzung haben bei ca. 90% Lautstärke 16% des Akkus verbraucht. Wirklich Top. Das Case ist sehr klein, hat zwar keine Kabellose Ladefunktion dafür aber immerhin USB-C. Beim Case und den Kopfhörern wurden recycelte Ressourcen verwendet und bei der Verpackung komplett auf Plastik verzichtet. Finde ich sehr gut. Die Linkbuds S und das Case haben eine leicht angeraute, griffige und damit sehr angenehme Oberfläche, was keine Chancen für Fingerabdrücke lässt. Für mich persönlich sind es Design-technisch die schönsten Kopfhörer. (auch wenn das natürlich sehr subjektiv zu beurteilen ist) Möglicherweise sind die Linkbuds S vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis die besten Kopfhörer auf dem Markt. Bin sehr zufrieden mit den Kopfhörern.

Black Week und zugeschlagen !

Habe die Hörer auf Grund des guten Rufs von Sony Ohrhörer und durch das Black Week Angebot gekauft. Der Klang ist schon sehr gut und auch das ANC ,wenn man die richtigen Aufsätze findet passen sie auch hervorragend! Aber die Bedienung. Und die verspielte App! Das hätte man auch einfacher machen können! Aber trotzdem für den Preis zuempfehlen !

Wunderbarer Klang!

Diese Earbuds haben einen wunderbaren Klang. Der Equalizer bietet bereits hervorragend abgestimmte Einstellungen für z.B. Vocal. Die Trageeigenschaften sind einwandfrei. Das ANC erfüllt nicht ganz meine Erwartungen, manche Nebengeräusche werden sogar hervorgehoben. Auch zum Telefonieren kann ich persönlich die Stöpsel leider nicht gebrauchen, alle meine Telefonpartner melden mir sehr heftiges Echo zurück, sie hören sich also verzögert selbst. Schade, das war eigentlich eine der wichtigsten Einsatzzwecke für mich. Dennoch kann ich die Ohrhörer empfehlen.

Das sind meine ersten Earbuds und ich bin ziemlich begeistert. Ich benutze sie insb. für das Internet oder höre damit auch Musik (z.B. Techno). Sie sind so bequem dass man sie im Grunde auch den ganzen Tag tragen kann. Ich verwende etwas zu kleine Stöpsel, damit spüre ich sie fast gar nicht. Da sie damit nicht ganz abdichten, helfe ich unter Windows mit einem EQ nach. Nun sind sie sehr neutral, verzerrungsarm, genügend Bass, sehr gut für Sprache und Musik geeignet.

Sehr toller satter Sound mit schönen Bässen. Akkuleistung finde ich auch sehr gut. Einzig bei Joggen knacken sie. Bekomme das auch mit anderen Einstellungen nicht weg.

Some pairing problems

Battery life - I thought it would last longer

Bought this 2 weeks ago. I like the design. I like the options available in the Sony Headphones app. Love the multi-point connection. The fit is excellent - I swapped out the ear buds for a larger size but switched back to those that came pre-fitted. The noise-cancelling is perfect for me as someone who works at home a lot. It reduces a lot of the background noise so that I can hear my playing music clearly, or hear speakers crystal clear during online meetings. I like the fact that it gives a quick charge when in the case - which is very handy because... Downside: battery. Unfortunately, from 100%, it doesn't last as long as mentioned in large print on the marketing blurb: "20 hours battery life with a 5 minute quick charge for up to 60 minutes of play time". It barely gets me to 1pm from a 9am start. That means I have had to switch back to using my CH-700 headphones. Those last the entire day - and more besides. Yes the CH-700 is bigger so the battery is also bigger, but seeing as I purchased the LinkBuds S based on the "20hrs battery life", let's just say I'm not a little disappointed.

Ich nutze die LinkBudsS nun seit 3 Monaten. Zu den Äußerlichkeiten: Die LinkBudsS sind handlich und passen gut ins Ohr. Sie haben eine matte Struktur, die ich persönlich unangenehm finde und das Gefühl habe, dass sie ziemlich rau sind für die Gehörgänge. Die Soundqualität und der Bass sind gut und auch die Gesten kann man gut nutzen. Was mir sehr fehlt ist eine Funktion zur Nachverfolgung der Buds sowie des Cases. Im Falle eines Verlustes sind 150 Euro futsch...

Nach mehreren Versuchen endlich passende inEar Buds gefunden, die meine Ohren nicht quälen. Klein, leicht und bequem. Seit dem jüngsten Firmware Update auch Multipoint Bluetooth Verbindungen möglich (Kaufargument No 1) und direkt die beste Softwareseitige Implementierung, die ich bisher gesehen habe. Das einzige Manko sind die nur über Sets konfigurierbaren touch Sensoren. Warum kann ich der Lautstärke Regelung (1-click, halten) nicht noch einen Doppelklick für ANC hinzufügen?

Bought this product a week ago and I am verry happy so far. Musically it has verry good bass and good midrange. I have not used the Noise cancelling enough to comment honestly but sofar I am satisfied. The Black Friday price was good compared the original.
